Coreopsis tripteris ‘Gold Standard’ -  ‘Gold Standard’ tall tickseed

Seed collected from a wild Alabama population of C. tripteris gave rise to this Mt. Cuba Center selection, which offers sturdy stems to 6-7’ tall topped with masses of bright yellow blooms from mid-summer through frost. It loves full sun and a lean soil, offers excellent drought tolerance and is an amazing pollinator attracter. Plant in full sun. Zones 3–8.
